UC academics Dr @rebeccaampeer and Dr Jannik Haas are leading a $2m NZ-German project how green hydrogen could provide sustainable transport, heating and electricity for New Zealanders https://t.co/bXC33jtffD #UCEngineering@UCEngineering
NZ wants to decarbonise. How about removing Mts/yr of CO2 from the atmosphere? Here's how it can be done fairly cheaply by our geothermal and forestry sectors @rebeccaampeer@ConversationEDU#ERP https://t.co/ZH85b8jaJ0
Too much CO2 in the atmosphere? Maybe just suck it out and dissolve it in a geothermal system for extra⚡️and💲 - NZ could do Mts/yr of emissions cuts this way. Fairly easily and cheaply. More to say on it tomorrow @rebeccaampeer@UCNZ#ERP#geothermal#decarbonisation

The second article in #ERIS second issue has been published. @rebeccaampeer and @CM_Chini explore the historical values of water and carbon intensity of global electricity production https://t.co/PfKTI3C9RV
Excited to announce my latest collaboration with magnificent @rebeccaampeer detailing the past 30 years of water and carbon footprints of electricity for countries around the world. Long story short, parts of the world are improving but a long way to go:

Excited to announce that @rebeccaampeer and my paper in Scientific Data came out today. Check it out if you want more details on our latest global VW trade of energy paper and its associated published data. https://t.co/npkrCjJ52m
Very excited to announce my new work with @rebeccaampeer on the global virtual water trade associated with energy published in Env. Research Letters. https://t.co/iD33NX84Qm
We analyzed 11 different energy commodities and their country to country trade from 2010-2018. 1/n
REMINDER: Tomorrow is the submission deadline for @theAGU abstracts. Please consider submitting to our session titled: H119 - Transnational water resources policy and challenges, co-convened by @rebeccaampeer @marcfmuller and J. Delorit

So...it turns out we *do* have angostura bitters casually lying around. @rebeccaampeer and my cocktail for the evening is our take on The Horsefeather: 2 oz bourbon, 2 oz ginger liquor, 4 dashes angostura, 1 dash lime juice, and a little bit of sparkling water to make it potable
@SteveDavisUCI We’ve upgraded to glass bottles with our fancy postdoc salaries! (But yes... our bottle of white rum does indeed have a built in handle 🙈)
Inspired by @SteveDavisUCI, here is a drink @rebeccaampeer and I made up because we don't have angostura casually lying around: 1 pt vodka, 1 pt elderflower liquor, 3 pts lemonade, splash of lime juice (no fresh fruit on hand). Verdict: pretty delicious nonetheless
