I wrote this song to bring awareness to something I believe is happening right now, beneath our very feet.
There are two snakes moving through the grass. One is red, the other green. Together, they represent what is often called the Red-Green Alliance.
I encourage everybody to learn about this term, investigate it, and understand the political movements and ideologies associated with it.
In my view, we are witnessing a dangerous convergence of political interests. On one side are elements of the green movement, presenting promises of environmental protection, equality, peace, and a better future. On the other are revolutionary socialist and communist ideologies, alongside radical Islamist movements that, despite their very different beliefs, may find common ground in their opposition to Western political and social institutions.
I believe we must question what lies behind these promises. What happens when movements with fundamentally different visions of the world unite against a common enemy? What happens when their ambitions become more important than the freedom of the people they claim to represent?
And once again, who is being pointed at? Israel, Zionism, and the Jewish people.
I believe accusations against Jews and Israel can become a convenient distraction from other political ambitions, encouraging people to look in one direction while failing to examine what is happening elsewhere.
That is why I chose the Garden of Eden as the setting for this song. Two snakes, two colours, two different promises of paradise. Both climbing the Tree of Knowledge, both offering the forbidden fruit, and both seeking to influence the future of the garden.
The warning is simple: Don’t be so distracted by the accusations being shouted around you that you forget to look at what is moving beneath your feet.
I encourage everyone to research the Red-Green Alliance, examine its different meanings and political connections, question the promises being made, and form their own conclusions.
Because freedom, once surrendered, is not always easy to recover.
THE TWO SNAKES OF THE RED-GREEN ALLIANCE

I'm always surprised by how many Americans don't know that their country's first war was against the Barbary pirates of North Africa.
They attacked American ships, captured and enslaved American sailors, and demanded tribute payments.
When Jefferson and Adams asked why Americans were being targeted, the Tripolitan ambassador justified it by citing the Quran, claiming that his religion gave them the right to wage war against those who didn't acknowledge their authority.
“Muslims are only mad at America because of our foriegn policy!”
Yeah I remember when Islamists started enslaving our sailors in the 1700’s because they were mad about our air force base in Qatar.
🔥 Now this is how you field the questiond about the war in Iran. The crowd's response is epic.
GOP Senatorial candidate Justin Murphy's response was pure gold. Senator Cory "Spartacus" Booker's face tells the entire story as Democrats have seen no one come Out swinging like this.
"Mr. President, put your cowboy hat on and get out there and kick some
a$$...and get this done and get this done right"
Teaching girls how to protect themselves is NOT the same as blaming them for what somebody else does.
I can teach boys to respect boundaries and still teach girls to trust their instincts, speak up, move, leave, and get help.
Both matter.
I’m not preparing these kids for the world I wish existed.
I’m preparing them for the world they actually have to live in.
This is probably the most controversial thing I discuss publicly: you already have what you need to heal, grow, and change.
I want you to say this out loud with me if you're somewhere you can: "I already have what I need to heal and grow and change."
I know it's true for you because Scripture says it. You already know you have a sound mind from 2 Timothy 1:7 ("God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind").
Then Peter adds this.
"His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness." (2 Peter 1:3, NIV)
Every time I teach this, somebody comes up and says, "But you don't know what I've been through. You don't know my personality. You don't know my diagnosis."
That's true, I don't. But I do know what Peter wrote, and he wrote "everything we need."
I say this with love, friend, but also as a doctor giving you the straight facts; I don't see an asterisk in that verse that says, "Unless I've been through trauma, or have ADHD, or a high ACE score, or my name is ________."
So are you ready to accept what he has already given you, and the way he designed you? Are you willing to learn how to operate your system so it stops operating you?
And ultimately the question is this: do you want to get better, or do you want to stay broken, bitter, or trying to figure out who to blame for what's keeping you stuck? Because neuroscience and scripture agree: you have what you need if you're willing to change your mind.
Share this with a friend who needs to know they are designed to heal, and save it for later when you need a friendly reminder that you have what you need.
And follow me for daily connections between neuroscience and faith that will help you in your quest for healing, hope, and higher performance in your life.
