Reflecting on what a beautiful job my 4th and 5th grade chorus did on their spring concert ๐ I am so proud of how much they have grown as musicians and friends!

Running musical March Madness for my school! I think "We Don't Talk About Bruno" is going to win the whole thing, but I'm rooting for "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" ๐ค๐ผ #MusicInOurSchoolsMonth#MIOSM#MarchMadness
Apologizing to students and admitting I made a mistake is something that always reminds me why Iโm a teacher. You would not believe the number of kids whoโve told me an adult has never apologized to them ๐คจ
@ajpodchaski A2 Google Slides became my bread and butter this year. I'm a K-5 music teacher and we weren't allowed to sing in person until about March. Lots of pre-recording and embedding into Slides this year! #edtechchat
@ajpodchaski A3 I feel my district put forth a huge effort to make sure teachers went into the year as prepared as possible with tech, safety measures, etc. I'm fortunate, because I know that wasn't the case everywhere! #edtechchat
@ajpodchaski A4 hopping in a bit late, but I'd say without a doubt students received the bulk of self care support this past year. As educators, I feel we naturally put their health and well-being first. I do hope this year upper admin go further to promote teacher self care. #edtechchat
@PapillonAnne A5 I think I will continue to professionally use Twitter once this course is over! I've found #teachergram to be incredibly beneficial with lessons and feeling generally supported and connected throughout this crazy year. I think I'll find that on Twitter as well! #OPTWITTERLEARN
@PapillonAnne A4. I thought for certain #musiced -related hashtags would be my favorite, but I'm really loving the #EarlyChildhoodEducation and #naeyc hashtags! I've found so many interesting articles and insights. Reminds me how much I love and miss early childhood Ed! #OPTWITTERLEARN
@PapillonAnne A3: @jmattmiller is such a wealth of knowledge when it comes to teaching with tech! This year more than ever showed us the increasing importance of relevant tech in education. #OPTWITTERLEARN
@PapillonAnne A1 I'd say I don't have one person in mind that I'm excited to follow -- more that I'm excited to happen upon the different educators on Twitter with similar passions to my own and find new ideas. #optwitterlearn
So proud of our OP 5th graders! This project was a labor of love between all four elementary buildings. Making music any way that we could this year! ๐ถ #musiced#elementarymusic
Check out this impressive 5th grade end of the year music video โWeโre In This Togetherโ All 5th graders in the district participated. Please watch this awesome video at the link below!
