Saturday’s Sweat For A Cause at Fitstop Morayfield supporting the Mental Awareness Foundation.

Sunday’s Paladin simulation race with the Fitstop Morayfield crew at Griffin Sports Complex.

Mixed Doubles time of 59:01 for my first Paladin (simulation) race. Not bad after missing 3 weeks of training due to a cold/cough that just wouldn’t go away. 🤣

I felt the earthquake, standing in my kitchen in Caboolture. Did you feel it?

Under @AustralianLabor, real wages are now growing strongly again, with today's ABS figures showing seven consecutive quarters of annual growth.

This is the strongest real wages growth in five years and the longest run of real wages growth above 0.7 per cent in a decade.

Australians voted for higher wages at the election, and that's what our Albanese Government is delivering. #auspol #ausecon

The RBA has just cut interest rates for the third time in six months.

Today’s quarter of a percentage point cut brings the cash rate to 3.60 per cent and will make a meaningful difference to millions of mortgage holders around the country.

Under @AustralianLabor, inflation is down, unemployment is low, real wages and living standards are growing again, more than 1.1 million jobs have been created, debt is down, the economy is growing and interest rates are falling.

Perfect running weather for the Sunshine Coast Marathon Festival yesterday!

I ran the 5km in a time of 28:05. 😊

Thank you to Fitstop Morayfield for all the recent training! We started a new 6-week challenge on the weekend that will take us up to the Bridge to Brisbane.

My sister Kathryn ran the 5km in a time of 21:50 and came 2nd in our age group!

(Kathryn trains by running 50 kilometres each week. 🥵)

Welcome news that inflation has fallen to 2.1%👇

[Jim Chalmers MP @JEChalmers]

Very welcome new inflation numbers are a powerful demonstration of the progress Australians have made together. Quarterly and monthly, headline and underlying, goods and services inflation - all down. #auspol #ausecon

I’m sure Sussan Ley’s chief-of-staff will get lots of great ideas about how the Liberals can appeal more to women when he’s hanging out at this “private gentlemen’s club”. 🙄

The Australian Club literally describes itself as “a timeless sanctuary providing respite from the bustling modern world.”

Trump promised Americans no more wars.

Another broken promise.

In the words of George Conway, “A smart and evil man manipulated a stupid and evil man into a war against a fanatical and evil regime.”

[George Conway ⚖️🇺🇸 @gtconway3d]

Much as I would not dare to predict the consequences of this war, I do think we can summarize it thusly so far:

A smart and evil man manipulated a stupid and evil man into a war against a fanatical and evil regime.

It is an absolute disgrace that Scott Morrison has been awarded the highest award in this year’s King’s Birthday Honours List.

His role in Robodebt, and secretly appointing himself to ministries, should never be forgotten.
