@EvieLupine Of course, this only applies to monogamous relationships - and controlling people may use the term to wrongly condemn their partner's healthy friendships.

I would say with emotional affairs, the "offending" partner will typically know their behaviour is wrong but continue anyway

Passing by a school today, I saw a child whose gender I couldn't at once identify. Naturally suspicious, I asked them what they identified as and they replied "Your mum".

What kind of world is this where teens are permitted to "identify" as 70 year old women? It's woke gone mad.
