Nigel Farage says #abortion laws are “utterly ludicrous.”
MPs are watching.
We have days to show them: the public backs abortion rights.

#DonaldTrump could be given the honour of addressing the UK parliament. We can't let him spout his idiocy and hate in the heart of our #democracy. MPs are pushing back - now it’s our turn. Sign the petition to stop this national embarrassment: https://t.co/M1N0J2L1Zi
Why should people be convicted for disrupting traffic exercising a #democratic right when the highways agency can disrupt #traffic and endanger life with 'all lane running' #motorways - bugger that!

UK needs PR, or France's 2nd stage vote, so politicians unpopular with the majority don't reach office! The UK & US need not be governed by nutjobs that lost the popular vote.
Forget Brexit, did you vote for PR in the 2012 referendum? https://t.co/SonsR5uo3y
No Prime Minister should be able to appoint anyone they like to the major offices of state, simply by making them a Lord. Sign @electoralreform's call now to demand change. https://t.co/YCzvK6IaQV
Letting 636 #fossilfuel#lobbyists into #COP27 is crazy! An attempt to smother smaller countries' voices. Joe Biden was right when he said we have to fight for democracy - one way to do that is keep corporate interests out of politics.
#Banks are raking in huge multibillion #profits by charging borrowers high interest whilst paying peanuts to savers - the net interest margin. And it's getting worse. Seriously - this is money the #NHS and some households badly need. https://t.co/zUOztPxt6b
Why do the British always have to judge + treat others according to their #class, title, job seniority, fame, #education, skin colour etc. It's horrible. And shallow. How can the real person ever thrive here?
It's not this bad in other western countries.

I hope #Charles continues to speak up as #King, especially wrt #environment + social issues. Being prepared to speak out is a quality that shows care, a sense of responsibility for the wider world + bravery to face criticism it could bring. IMO it sets a good example.
Its my twitter anniversary but no way am I celebrating - #elonmusk will ruin it. Aptly #twitter sent me this dubious NFT-like artwork with an unlucky number on it. So how long til the spoilt tycoon re-admits #trump ('free speech')? #MyTwitterAnniversary
I almost can't bear adverts from greedy companies. There's a cost of living crisis yet our public information says 'gamble, buy EE full fibre broadband, eat Big Mac + fries' etc etc. Corporates are laughing at us. They've rigged our society to serve their profits at our expense.
@paulmasonnews Its hard to be truthful and informative when you're senselessly conscious of reactions to what you say from your stuffy top-down frightened employer.
It's so annoying when you get a good result because you did something smart, or worked hard, and someone says 'oh you're soo lucky!' Yes, and I'm going to carry on making that luck. 😊 #Wednesdayvibe
Great news for democracy - the Labour conference has voted for a manifesto commitment to #ProportionalRepresentation. Now we just need @Keir_Starmer to make sure it's in the next Labour manifesto.
