Katie Miller clutches her pearls over the official Democratic twitter account calling her husband ugly: "This is the same violent political rhetoric that is leading people to shooting up the White House Correspondents Dinner or President Trump in Butler"
@kurt13warner 1) only the Iranian people could make this successful
2) no reason to think we destroyed their capabilities. We likely only increased their desire to obtain nuclear weapons like North Korea
3) the strait is currently in a worse state than before the conflict
I refuse to accept that any person can truly, in their heart of hearts, be proud of acting like this. No fame, money, or adoration is worth acting like this.
@BarryOnHere Nah. Just shows you should do something you're proud of in life. If you truly believe in what you do, you and your fam will be proud of the legacy regardless. But if you sow hatred against millions of people, it might not work out too well (and that SUCKS if you were grifting)
This morning, Apple News put Politico’s full-screen image of Chuck Schumer with a sign claiming Republicans blocked TSA funding “8 times” in front of its reportedly 125 million users.
Republicans in the Senate need to get real about what sport they’re playing. They don’t have a messaging problem. They have a distribution problem. When polling suggests Republicans are to blame for TSA lines, this distribution bias is why.
So the current reality is this:
1. One side controls mass information distribution
2. The other side is constraining itself by the supermajority rules
3. 100+ million Americans are seeing one version of the story
This mismatch is not sustainable, politically.
Democrats do not care about election security, TSA lines or homeland defense, and they simply don’t need to. Apple does the work for them.
Senate Republicans could fold like they normally do or they could change the Senate rules to allow for up-or down simple majority votes on national security and election security legislation.
The latter is fast becoming their only option out of this.
@DLtkdj @ranboy@robbysoave No you didn't. He's deciding how his product is used and you're taking the side of the government who wants to thread the needle on domestic mass surveillance and autonomous weapons they know are not ready. Sad!
@ranboy@gazatwita@robbysoave The concern is that the government can take action and then the court rules them to be illegal. Their red line seems very reasonable, doesn't it?
@DLtkdj @ranboy@robbysoave I would recommend second guessing that stance when the government wants to walk the line of autonomous weapons and domestic mass surveillance
@ranboy@Gnat50512@robbysoave You're not concerned the government wants to seemingly thread the needle and autonomous weapons that, while legal, are not, according to the company who owns the technology, are not ready?
