A parent who believes there’s been a shift in our Alberta Education system away from the 3 R’s to cultivating a cultural revolution. Here to share some facts.

SEL isn’t a way to teach a specific political agenda?….🤔
Transformative SEL focuses on skills for individual success, interpersonal relations, and community-building, as well as skills needed to ensure democratic, fair, and inclusive communities.

I love how Larry Elder used Charlemagne’s stupid question (a question that insinuates that Larry Elder is an Uncle Tom) against him.
This short clip is why Larry Elder is one of my favourites. 🙌🙌
@ABschoolcouncil@JParkYYC I don’t understand why educational associations/school districts/teachers unions have a problem acknowledging that they have applied CRT/intersectionality?
It is a yes or no question:
Do you apply an intersectional lens to your association?

@PlumberAlberta How dare you! Freeland can communicate with glaciers and oceans, there’s no one more qualified/intelligent to address the next gen of graduates!
@ABschoolcouncil Thanks-I did read a lot of articles and researched the organizations that @ABschoolcouncil included on this page: https://t.co/LRRKZg6wKM

@ABschoolcouncil@RebuildABedYQL Who exactly are you advocating for? I don’t see a lot of parent advocacy in your policies and yet isn’t that who you say your the voice of?
I do however see a lot of Critical Race and Queer theory ideologies in there.
@ABschoolcouncil There’s a fine line between advocacy and activism, I think. Applying intersectionality wades into activism. Especially when ASCA provides links to these types of Ted talks: https://t.co/gsjoOary6h

Would @ABschoolcouncil consider requiring divisions who are willing to pay for school membership fees on a “at request” basis?
This could encourage more meaningful @ABschoolcouncil engagement. And, this could help ensure active membership rather than membership by default.
