Just a reminder to you all that your favourite podcast ever won't be coming out tomorrow like usual due to life circumstances getting in the way. Hoping it'll be back to normal programming next week 🤞we're sorry, we love you all, hope you all had a fabulous weekend!!!
While I was over the Atlantic Ocean, a 'new' episode dropped. It's actually a re-upload from HoW, because I've been away and unable to work.
Still, with Halloween coming up you need to know it's historical origins to truly enjoy it, right? https://t.co/2tTOfpy1OJ

On this day - Oct. 12 - in 1492, Christopher Columbus made landfall an island in the Bahamas (the exact island is not known). It is one of the pivotal moments in human history. https://t.co/frwmPHF57B
Last day of @sound_edu tomorrow, and it's set to be the biggest. I really should be taking notes of all the amazing people I've met and things I've heard, because there's so much something is going to slip through the cracks of my recap!
Just finished my talk with @mikeduncan at @sound_edu. Some real bombshells in there! We are both smarter than Conrad Russel AND Einstein, for one thing. Can't wait to get it edited and uploaded!
New! In episode 2 of the Spooky Corner series, Corrie & Brian talk various representations (and misrepresentations) of the cannibalistic creature/spirit of Algonquian legend - the Wendigo!

I was told by my Head of Sixth Form that he wasn't going to waste his time getting me through clearing for university. I wasn't worth the effort, essentially.
I'm not sure I really blame him. I wasn't the best at school. Even so, I'm looking forward to telling him I have a PhD!
That's me packed for Boston! Now to enjoy a 4 and a half hour sleep.
That should leave me refreshed and ready to face a 12... hour... journey...
Whoever invented the Atlantic Ocean, you have a lot to answer for!
