Trying something: please REPLY to this with the handle of someone you think is incredibly FUN to play/talk poker with. Not the BEST player, but the one who ENJOYS it the most and makes others enjoy it more too. Please retweet to spread the word and @ some folks that fit the bill!
“There is an inevitability that the poster of that 882-word diatribe, replete with staccato sentences and emdashes (the telemarks of ChatGPT), would also use AI to cheat his subjects, audience and commissioners.”

@VictoriaL_64@Protentialmn Hey there…maybe give this @RecPoker documentary a chance. It’s not flashy and doesn’t have “big names,” but it does follow the journey of a handful of “regular” players while showing the highs and sometimes gut-wrenching lows of poker.

I know I’ve been away from the streaming scene on twitch for a while now. I believe everyone needs a break now and then. With everything Tht has been going on with me on the personal side of things. Whether it be my 9to5 or family or whatever. It was extremely hard for me to be In The right mindset to be happy and entertaining while going thru hell. Well I know I’m in a much better place now. I still have my doubts about a lot of stuff that is still on going in my personal life. I know my poker life is getting better each day. So with that in mind I will be starting back to streaming 1 day a week to get started. So starting in dec. 2025 I will be streaming again. Don’t know what day yet. And yes need to get my ass in gear as dec starts next week. I’m hoping you like the new overlays I have made. I will be running it in no delay so I can focus on what keeps me going and that is you all in the chat. Until my first stream back have a great thanksgiving !!! @BetRiversPoker@ACR_POKER@ACRSTormers@WPN_CEO@Lelepokerr@pokerfacegal13@PokerDay52@forlove_ormoney@PokerNews@RGPokerSeries@GaronYamashita@THEBrettKimes@RecPokerJim@RobGardnerLive@XsavageX@tjreidpoker@RecPoker@VA_Venom@Joeingram1@LoAnPer66@padspoker@CoinPoker_OFF@LucidPoker@theb52bomber
I'm ending my dad's life today. Four days ago, he was admitted to the hospital. He suffered a cardiac arrest, doctors discovered incurable blood cancer, and then almost all brain function ceased. He isn't breathing on his own.
My dad abused my mom for years. He abused my aunt. He raised me in a cult, stole my identity, and ruined our credit. He stole every last cent from my dementia-suffering grandpa. He asked me to lie to a judge for him and has more DUIs than I even know. He was on the losing end of a not-well-enough-hidden battle with alcohol for 40+ years.
Despite all of that, I choose to remember the good I can find today. My dad never figured out life. His experience in this world pained me as I know it did him. I am who I am because of him in good and bad ways.
Twitter drama has never felt more inconsequential than it has this week. Treasure the relationships you have. Life is fleeting and fugitive. Try not to bring pain to those who love you. I write this selfishly, for catharsis and expression. I won't respond to comments today, but I will read them as I'm able. With love and thanks.
If you love poker or care about poker’s future at all..
I need you to take ten minutes and watch this video and tell everyone.
The @WPT, @WSOP, @PokerGO, @PokerNews, @pokerorg, and @ClubWPT are in a slow decline
They need your help…
I just became aware of this, and I'm utterly appalled.
As someone who has led a production company and spent the better part of two decades immersed in the art of storytelling through video, I cannot overstate how enraging and disgraceful this is. There is no version of this where your actions are even remotely defensible. The use of AI to fabricate interview responses, to literally put words in someone's mouth that they never said, is not simply an editorial lapse. It is a grotesque violation of the most sacred principle in documentary and interview-based work: truth.
To attempt to justify this by implying your only mistake was failing to consult the subject is nothing short of absurd. That position is so staggeringly disconnected from basic ethical standards that it’s challenging to comprehend how it was posted without shame. The producer did not merely cross a line; they incinerated it. They stood on the trust that subjects place in content creators, and you shattered it for the sake of convenience or spectacle.
What’s worse, this didn’t happen in a vacuum. It happened within a space (the poker community) that already fights an uphill battle against the stigma of deceit and manipulation. What message do you think this sends to those outside the industry? That we are not only willing to deceive, but proud to defend it when caught?
You’ve set fire to credibility that took years to build. You’ve confirmed every worst suspicion the public harbors about us. And in doing so, you haven’t just embarrassed yourselves. You’ve embarrassed all of us who work tirelessly to build trust, tell honest stories, and give subjects the dignity they deserve.
I’m not just disappointed. I’m furious that this was allowed to happen. I’m furious that no one stopped it. And I’m furious that even now, faced with clear wrongdoing, they're doubling down instead of standing up, admitting fault, and making it right.
THE CHIP RACE is having its biggest year and while @daraokearney and I are both very proud of the output and do consider it to be up there with our best, it’s not lost on us that a lot of poker podcasts have sunset on gone on hiatus.
If there are any podcasters who have been at this for years and would like amplification, we’d love to hear from you and we will try to make some space for an interview with you in our 2026 programming.

Ja'Marr Chase tried the Rick James defense: "I mean, what am I gonna do? Just all of a sudden jump up and grind my feet on someone's couch, like it's something to do? Come on, I got a little more sense than that. Yeah, I remember grinding my feet into Eddie's couch." #Steelers #NFL
