The hedgehogs loved their forest school session this week! We made homes for the hedgehogs π¦ used the hammers for the first time! And we read room on the broom and made our very own magical broom sticks πͺ΅πΏπ
This afternoon we took reception to forest school. They enjoyed making their faces out of clay using grass, twigs and leaves . We played hide and seek and to finish the session we cloud watched. What a fantastic afternoon.
Green Fingers club is back for the spring term! We explored the green fingersβ area and learnt how to stay safe. Then we created nature faces with clay, relaxed whilst cloud watching, and enjoyed playing hide and seek. πͺ΅πΏ Next week, planting and hot chocolateβ¦ πΌβοΈ
Reception have been reading the Gingerbread man. We baked our very own to eat, we made sure we counted them thoroughly before putting them in the oven. We noticed we had 4 full 5 frames of cookies and knew this made 20! But when we got them out one was missing! π±
The magic of T4W continues! We innovated our story this afternoon. Lots of children decided to draw and write their own story maps during their busy time! They were so excited to perform their own versions π€

This term through talk for writing we are learning to retell the story of the magic porridge pot. This afternoon the teachers used the magic words β cook pot cook, now we take a look, fully of yummy porridge now cook pot cookβ and made some magic porridge for reception class.
