This week we have been learning a bit about bees. We have also been using our phonics skills to find which digraphs are in the words and matching them!

We are so proud of the children and what they achieved for Sports Day! They worked so hard and enjoyed showing the grown ups all of the skills that we have been learning!

We had so much fun last week doing a science experiment! We wanted to see which material melted an ice cube the fastest. We made a prediction, voted on which one we thought and then conducted the experiment!

Today we did an experiment about keeping clean.
We put some germs (pepper) into water and put our finger in to see what happens and the germs stuck to us!
We then put some soap onto our hands to clean them and the germs moved away!

We have especially been looking at woodland habitats because this is where the owls live in the story we are looking at, ‘Owl Babies’ by Martin Waddle.

We have been learning all about a new habitat, the ocean. We looked at some adaptations of a hammer head shark, and have also enjoyed making some jelly fish and some fish as well!

We have had so much fun in the snow today. We loved making pictures by drawing in the snow, making footprints and even jumping in it! We even had some discussions about our favourite types of weather.
