Reception children enjoyed visiting the Year 6 Enterprise workshops at lunch time. These workshops are running all week if you’d like to send money in with your child. 🪙#EnterpriseWeek

Today is World Environment Day and we elected two eco monitors for our class; Albie and Rosie. They have a very important job to keep our Reception environment clean and tidy and to remind others to recycle as much as possible. 🌎♻️ #POWERScurriculum #WorldEnvironmentDay‌

This week we are reading ‘Someone Swallowed Stanley’. A story about a plastic bag that ends up in the ocean.
We have been learning about pollution and how important it is to keep our world clean and tidy to protect our environment.🌊🐠🦀♻️ #POWERScurriculum #STANinaction

We have also learnt how farming has changed over the years. There are now lots more modern machines and vehicles helping to make farmers jobs easier. 🚜🐮 #WRENinaction

We received a very special letter from Farmer Ted this week. 🚜
He wanted us to write a letter back to him asking a question about his farm. Look how fantastic our writing is. 🤩 #OMARinaction

This week we are reading Rosie’s Walk. A story about a sneaky fox trying to catch a hen. We have pretended to bump into things like the fox and also described how to water would feel when the fox fell in. 🦊🐓 #OMARinaction #TheWriteStuff

Today we learnt about minibeast habitats. We enjoyed making our own habitats for different bugs, making sure we used our nonfiction books to see what environment they like to live in. 🐞🦋🕷️ #STANinaction

We have been busy using our Eli powers to create minibeast sculptures using clay. It was lots of fun and very messy 🤩👨🏼‍🎨🕷️🐞🦋 #ELIinaction
