What’s that? A worm tunnel? 🪱 Superworm left the children a note asking if them to help find his friends as Wizard Lizard has taken them. The children came up with some great ideas as to how we could find him.

This week we are learning about the life cycle of a bean. Yesterday we all planted our own beans in a plastic bag to so that we can watch them develop over the next few weeks 🫘🌱

A simple open-ended activity which enabled the children to problem solve, make decisions, test their ideas and most importantly, develop their resilience! 👏

We had a lovely circle time session today. The children used their senses to describe and guess what was in the bag. Some children even wrote their guesses on paper during provision time whilst exploring the bulbs 😊

Reception are really excited to be taking part in Science week! This afternoon we have sliced two beetroots in half and placed them in water. We will observe any changes which happen throughout the week. @KewWoods

Our staff and pupil costume winners! We were so impressed by how much effort was put into all of the costumes so the winners were hard to choose. A big thank you to all our parents and carers for their efforts - your children all looked wonderful! 📚📚📚
