Weβve really enjoyed reading Peace at Last by Jill Murphy. We have created lots of amazing Mr Bears using different painting techniques and even found Mr Bear, Mrs Bear and Baby Bear hiding in the forest! π§Έ @CroxtethC
Wow! What a show! We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did. We are so proud of each and every child who performed on the stage today, they were fantastic πππ
We loved planting with our friends in Y4! @Y4S_CCPS showed amazing kindness and are wonderful role models, thank you for helping us learn how to plant bulbs! π@CroxtethC
Are you looking for a Nursery place for your child? From September, we will be offering morning and afternoon nursery places as well as 30 hour sessions. Please contact the school office for more information.
We have had such fun learning all about our local area and the fantastic city we live in. We used iPads to look at an aerial view on google earth and used all of our knowledge to create our own maps ππΊοΈ @CroxtethC@ReceptionP_CCPS
This year, our Croxteth Extravaganza is going to be bigger than ever before!
All children in Reception - Year 6 will perform at The Liverpool Lighthouse.
This will give all children the opportunity to experience performing in a theatre, in front of an audience.
We have absolutely loved reading the poem Zanzibar by Jeanne Willis and learning all about the life cycle of a butterfly. It was such a special surprise to see this process happen in real life! πππ¦@ReceptionT_CCPS@CroxtethC
Reception had a fun afternoon taste testing lots of different vegetables to see which ones we should put into our special soup for Supertato. There were some funny faces pulled! π We decided that we quite liked the sweet potato and the beetroot π@CroxtethC@ReceptionP_CCPS
Thank goodness! Just in time, Supertato does what he does best and saves the day! The veggies are free and the Evil Pea is going back to the freezer where he belongs π@suehendra@PaulLinnet@ReceptionP_CCPS@CroxtethC
After discovering that the Evil Pea had been causing more trouble in class today, Reception decided to take matters into their own hands and train up to become superheroes and rescue the captured veggies. So much fantastic imaginative role play! π¦ΈββοΈ @ReceptionP_CCPS@CroxtethC
