Here at TSP, we offer the 30 hours Nursery Provision and we have our own excellent Wrap Around Care Service for all pupils from 7.40am to 6pm.

In PE today, we have practiced controlling a ball. We first practiced stopping the ball, then different ways of throwing and catching the ball. Well done everyone! #TSPPD 🎾

After a very exciting visit from a real scarecrow, Reception and Nursery worked together to make their own scarecrow to go outside St Peter’s church. We can’t wait to show you the final result! #TSPEAaD @Nursery1TSP 🎨

Can you make a pair? The children were challenged today to find the matching sock and put it onto the washing line to make a pair. We explored pattern size and colours! Great work Reception! #TSPMaths 🧦

‘Just make a mark and see where it takes you.’ 🎨 The children have loved experimenting with paint and crayons today to create their own artwork. #Dotday #TSPEAaD

After reading ‘The Dot’, we decided to become artists and create our own art work with our friends in Nursery. We first drew a design onto filter paper with a black marker, coloured it in and sprayed it with water to blend the colours together. #Dotday #TSPEAaD @Nursery1TSP 🎨

All aboard the friendship train! In PE today, the children had to work together as a team to move around the room safely. The children first started in pairs, then joined another pair, then joined with another group and another until we were all joined as one! Great work! 🚂 #PD

In RE, we read a story called ‘You are very special’ and talked about the things that make us special and unique. We then looked at some items that are unique to us such as a thumb print and a passport and made a mirror to remind us of how special we are. #TSPRE 🪞💚

One of the Reception children kindly brought in some tomatoes that him and his Grandad had been growing at gardening club. We decided to use the delicious tomatoes to make our own bruschetta! We then decided to share it with the lovely staff! #Nurture #UtW 🍅💚

After reading a story about parachutes, we had a discussion about what parachutes are used for and how they work. We then used this knowledge to make our own parachutes. We even got to test them outside! Well done everyone! #Enjoy 🪂

Willy Wonka left Reception a challenge to find 6 golden tickets hidden in the outdoor area. We did not give up, just like our ‘SHINE’ friend Leo! He kindly left the children a gift from his factory. Thank you Willy Wonka! #Enjoy 🍫💙

Reception thoroughly enjoyed some mindfulness colouring in this afternoon. We listened to classical music and spent time carefully colouring in our pictures. We then all discussed how relaxed our minds and bodies felt afterwards. What a lovely relaxing Friday, Reception! #Enjoy💙
