@GingerWildheart “One who has no control over his desires has no control over his mind”
Now, that took a while to get a hold of, but you get that pull for the world & what might not be great for the soul (fun at the time).
@GingerWildheart When I was young, I was reading whatever I could get my hands on, while feeling like I was living a dozen lives & letting the world sway me, (usually wound up waking up in another country). But some simple old wise words hit hard& hopefully remind myself of them…
@GingerWildheart I’ve been terrible at that for many years. Somehow got past it but it does creep up at times. But you’re spot-on. It’s extremely destructive. “If only I did this…”, but that’s past now. Learn from it & while I’m not one for saying I have no regrets, I do, but…
Centre stage. Label or someone has gotten the artist shoved into the and. It happens. Same thing with another cracking artist, Aim. An Italian band with the same name gets their stuff mixed up with Andy’s Aim.
Woke up, coffee, checked phone for messages & then filled with pure excitement & then a massive letdown before even tapping the notification, because I just knew it wasn’t them.
Not a new single by The Sisters of Mercy. Bugger. @ChrisCatalyst@TheBloggingGoth@heartlandforum
Gary has been kind enough to give us an exclusive preview of the track Diaspora, from his upcoming new album “Sad Songs for Anthony”:

I’m releasing the album "Sad Songs For Anthony" through streaming services on the 18th June - a mere 40 years since the Sisters ‘Wake’ performance at the Royal Albert Hall.
A collection of 11 new songs, recorded at Soundstation in Wakefield with Mark Sturgess producing.
Yesterday was the anniversary of my final Sisters live gig, but it's 40 years today since I bowed out with the OGWT performance on April 2nd 1985.
Here's a bit of nonsense recreating the last notes I ever played for The Sisters: https://t.co/HSeMtxrfmD
@Mj_The3rdPick@MatthewACherry@AppleTV I was like that. Then I heard about Severance, so I tuned in, was fantastic. Then The Studio (just incredible) & now Government Cheese. Government Cheese has to be one of the best shows I’ve watched in decades, from the writing to the acting, it really pulls you in.
My evening is sorted!
The Studio (amazing, funny, brilliant, and absolute genius show)
Government Cheese, also pure genius and brilliant.
Love them both.
