Apologies for the lack of updates, my site was on a smashed up laptop with charging port somehow stuck to the screen I sincerely hope this makes up for it.
The foot broth.
Added a whole onion, carrot, and bulb of garlic — all with skins on (for quercetin and apparently carrot tops are very nutritious, although I prefer not to eat any of the cooked veggies).
I also added green chilies for vitamin C and a bit of heat. Ginger of course. Some other beef cuts I had lying around.
Jelly in the fridge. The feet themselves have a gelatinous rind that you can remove with a fork and eat straight. It’s very soft and tastes neutral.
Broth can then be strained and consumed as a beverage, and it can also be used to boil rice, mash potatoes, make sauces, and simmer basically everything from onions to liver to mushrooms.
Sorry not a very appetizing pic. I made this a week ago and sent photo to friend. Still have a good amount of broth left it has a very long shelf life.
Asked a friend if he's taking any supplements and he said:
