@mattThousand We had multiple apps (iOS & Android) that required feature parity and had a small development team. We were able to do it quickly with RN. Also, also if you’re handing off the project, it might be easier for the client to find a RN dev to maintain with 2 apps. My 2 cents. We

@mattThousand PM opinion only. RN felt way faster for getting features out depending on the complexity of the app. Bluetooth and things that are system level still require native code but for design I don’t think it can be beat.

Long time no talk. How are things, still anxiety inducing I see. I’d like to take a moment to talk about death, mostly death planning. Death planning sucks and all of the services, which there are far too few of, are lacking (not to call anyone out).

@amelapay It sucks overall but I'm lucky. My wife and I have done pretty well financially (other than the life insurance), we don't have kids, and so far the only annoying symptom has been some vision loss.

@amelapay It was dumb and a bit of unlucky lottery.

@amelapay We ran into the issue where I was switching jobs and had to wait 30 days to get on the company life insurance plan. We went with the larger plan that required a check up and before we could make it I had my aneurism and was diagnosed with Glioblastoma.😬

Where was I going with this? Dying sucks, but in a way it brings a lot of perspective to life. Talking about and planning for death is difficult but if we do it more, especially when we’re healthy - maybe we can better plan and appreciate our time together.
