Currently playing WiF (with DoD). π
I got this when it first came out, in the 80s, and fell in love right away. Since then, it has only become better. The latest edition is just perfect. π€
Thank you, ADG!
PS. Not sponsored. Just an honest expression of LOVE for WiF/DoD. π₯°
Paladins must be lawful good by definition.
It's okay for other alignments to have some kind of dedicated champion class. The way that Tcho-Tchos have okkators for enforcers and assassins. They just shouldn't have paladins.
@WizardGoesBoom We started doing this in 1989, because we were told that this was something "serious" gamers had to do...
Around the same period, most in my groups stopped playing, because they started in high school.
So, in any case, we stopped doing that... and stopped playing altogether.
@BrothermanBroke @ChubbyFunsterGC Well, a 55 lbs chainmail armor IS heavy... and FANTASY, for sure. No REAL chainmail armor weighs 55 lbs.
PS. My REAL (heaviest) mail shirt weighs about HALF that.... My lighter one weighs 13 lbs.
@ChubbyFunsterGC This is why most RPG mechanics suck, btw. They make games that are poorly researched and crash with everything we know about weapons, armors, etc., from the real world.
It is NOT difficult to (in a game) make an armor work (or look) as it does in real life. As it should...
