Happy Democracy Day from Recovery Hub!
Celebrating freedom, hope, resilience, and the power of positive change. Together, let's build a healthier and stronger society.
Happy new month from all of us at Recovery Hub. May this new month bring renewed strength for the journey, clarity in every decision, and steady progress toward healing and wholeness. This June, our focus is on staying well and staying grounded—one day at a time.
On World No Tobacco Day, Recovery Hub joins the global community in raising awareness about the dangers of tobacco use and nicotine addiction, including cigarettes, vapes, and shisha. The message emphasizes that quitting is possible and that no one has to face addiction alone.
April speaks of healing and growth.
On this Easter day, we reflect on sacrifice, embrace healing, and step forward in strength. Recovery is possible—one day at a time. Let's continue to shine the light of wholeness as a community.

Habits That Silently Weaken Your Immune System
A lot of us think our immunity only drops when we fall sick, but sometimes, it’s our daily habits that do the damage quietly.
Here are some unhealthy habits to watch out for:
Taking too much salt plus very little exercise is the fastest way to get HYPERTENSION.
Just imagine that your blood vessels are the regular water pipes that you know.
Now, when you eat too much salt, your body gathers and holds on to more water. This makes the pipes (your blood vessels) get full and tight because there’s too much liquid trying to pass through it.
Think about squeezing a lot of people through a small door, the pressure would be high!
That is what your body goes through when you eat too much salt.
🏷️How about Exercise?
When you don't exercise or you do it rarely like it's a punishment, your heart muscles get lazy and the pipes don’t stretch or work well enough.
They lose their flexibility and become stiff like an old rubber band.
So, with too much water (from the salt) and stiff pipes (from no exercise), your heart has to pump too hard to push blood to the rest of the body.
This overwork is what leads to high blood pressure. If it is not managed well, the heart may fail and result in another serious condition called Heart Failure.
