@Christo69933840 @clementine_ford Yeah raising any kid is bound to change how any parent views things. Doubtful about being hit or intimacy comment - who are you to decide those things for this kid? It's up to them, who they choose to love and be with. Not you.

5. It's been 12 months since i came forward. Some days are easier than others. Yesterday I was strong. Today I'm not. #recovery is a rollercoaster.

4. Sometimes all the tools in my tool kit don't work. Telling me to meditate isn't helpful. Nor is telling me to just breathe. Or making sexist comments. #dontdoit

3. Brain fog isn't just feeling a little off. It's not being able to function is a very literal sense. It's not understand or being able to take care of your basic needs. Today I was almost hit by a car for the "brain fog".

2. When I was first assaulted, I didn't record the day, date or time. But it's somewhere around this time of year. Anniversary trauma is real. I remember to much and not enough at the same time.

1. Today is the hardest day I've had in months. I have flashbacks that are not in my control to manage. I have physical body memories also appearing.
