Soft skills matter.

They help the employer understand your personal attributes and social abilities, how well you work with others, and whether you would be a good fit for the company's culture. So, be sure to include them.

@partnersinfire Home of the CSU Rams. I visited that city long ago when I had a friend at Colorado State.

@partnersinfire I actually get to live that every day now that I'm a stock trader and have my financial services business. So, I get more sleep every night, exercise more frequently, take a vacay every other month, and other enjoyable stuff.

Wise words from Gary Vee...

Even though I haven't been a tech recruiter for several years, I still see tech job openings in my LinkedIn feed. So, I'll start sharing them here.

Here's one for a Systems Engineer in Florida: https://t.co/0U47DriWfM

My last company grew from $0 to $2.7 billion in 3 years.

@partnersinfire My tennis game. I travel for work each week, so I'm not home often enough to get to the courts the way I'd like to. But that will change next year as I will be in town way more often.

@t8investing Amen! I'm making progress today by studying for another insurance license exam (even though I'd much rather be doing other, more fun stuff).

[Jay Prince @Recruiter_Agent]

@t8investing I obtained non-resident life insurance licensure in 4 other states to help grow my business.

[Jay Prince @Recruiter_Agent]

@MegNordmann @partnersinfire I would have to agree. What's the big deal? If you're doing the work--moving toward your financial independence goals--then you likely wouldn't have time to nitpick over what it's actually called.

[Jay Prince @Recruiter_Agent]

@t8investing I guess I have two wins: I earned more passive income via two of my dividend stocks (there are 10 in my portfolio), and I invested more via the purchase of additional shares of JPM.

[Jay Prince @Recruiter_Agent]

@t8investing Similar to @inthegm, I want to be free to do whatever I want with my time. Which includes pursuing passions such as inspiring young folks to pursue theirs.

[Jay Prince @Recruiter_Agent]

@partnersinfire Yup, I do.

[Jay Prince @Recruiter_Agent]

@BBerry357 Oh, 'Brooklyn Knights' is the name of the group?

[Jay Prince @Recruiter_Agent]

@BBerry357 Okay. I've seen YouTube videos of brothas in a park somewhere (not sure what borough) with bikes like yours. They were all in shape, and it looked like they were serious with it.

[Jay Prince @Recruiter_Agent]

@partnersinfire River Street, Forsyth Park, Tybee Island...

Some of my absolute favorite places in the world

[Jay Prince @Recruiter_Agent]

@BBerry357 Nice. I didn't know you were into it like that.

How often do you ride?

And do you roll with a crew?

[Jay Prince @Recruiter_Agent]

@BBerry357 Man! That bad boy is nice. Looks spendy, too.
