Joe Biden, who is 83 years old and has bone cancer, stood for hours during the 911 ceremony today
The White House piece of shit who is asleep in the second picture, and who is having a mini stroke during his personal 911 ceremony because he wasn’t invited to NY, tried to tell the world that Biden was the one who couldn’t stay awake
People in this country are so fucking stupid
@VandyonTigers So Tarik Skubal and his trash agent are completely held harmless here? I guess the fact that they never actually negotiated in actual good faith was never an option. Cool story bro
@DanielSchoenro7@Lynn_Henning Not even close. Do you realize that over the last 25 years, over 80% of players who have signed mega-deals in MLB have been busts? It simply wasn’t good business to sign a 30 year old with a history of major arm issues to a 8 year, $50m contract.
@Lynn_Henning Harris, for a change, didn’t lose the trade deadline, but these deals do not equate to “likely long-term payoff”. Prospects are lottery tickets. More than 50% of them don’t pan out. You want to accrue as many as you can and hope for the best
@VandyonTigers Yeah, let’s just sign a guy with a history of major arm issues to a long-term, $50 million/year deal, handcuffing our ability to add free agents. Never mind the fact that over 80% of players signed to mega contracts over the last 25 years have been busts. Bad take, John
@Lynn_Henning My biggest concern is in Scott Harris’ general incompetence as a general manager- just look at his trades and free agent deals. Dude seemingly cannot negotiate his way out of a paper bag. He overestimates his hand constantly.
@TigersData That would be a fireable offense for most GMs, but probably not for Scott Harris-Yzerman; doing that would also be completely on-brand for him. Just a horrific General Manager.
@Lynn_Henning I thank the Cubs every day for taking the bulket for the Tigers on Bregman. Not quite Javy Baez 2.0, but trending in that direction. Somebody else’s problem now
