If your 3rd grader scored in the approaching range on the ELA section of the TCAP assessment and scored at or above the 40th percentile on their spring universal screener, they are eligible for a waiver which will allow them to move on to 4th grade with no additional requirements as they enter next year. Additionally, those who have experienced a catastrophic event such as the loss of an immediate family member, loss of their home or a significant medical diagnosis are also eligible for the waiver.
