❗️GARDEN WASTE COLLECTIONS RESUME❗️
The garden waste service will resume on the week commencing either 20 or 27 February 2023 depending upon your collection week.

Subscriptions for the 2023-24 garden waste service will go on sale 1 March 2023.

The first collection changes come into effect tomorrow. Collections that would normally take place on Monday be collected tomorrow (Saturday 24th). The rest of next weeks collections will take place 1 day later than normal.

It's that time of year again 🎅🎁🎄 Remember wrapping paper can be recycled if it scrunches, ribbons and bows can't be recycled but can be re-used and glittery items can't be recycled. Happy Christmas 🎅🎁🎄

Christmas Tip No1- ☃️🎄Cut down on waste and expense this Christmas by regifting presents you've received throughout the year; consider making a gift such as biscuits, fudge or a tree decoration; buy a gift from a charity shop; don't buy for the sake of it. ☃️🎄

For the safety of our crews please don't tie anything to your bin, this can get caught on the lifting mechanism. If you need to secure a bin please ensure the rope/string is tied to the fixing point not the bin. Bins need to be accessible and unhindered at all times. Thank you.

It's Recycle Week - You can recycle all your food/drinks cans, aluminium foil and foil trays in your blue lidded recycling bin, providing they are clean ♻️💦. But all other metal items need to be taken to your local Household Waste Recycling Centre 👍

Unsure of how to dispose of tissues and kitchen roll? 🤔 Tissues and kitchen roll can't be recycled in your blue lidded bin. So they'll need to go in your black bin 👍 You can reduce the demand for paper tissues by using cotton hankies and serviettes which are washable ♻️
