DONATION COMPLETE 🦭🐟
We donated another €45.50 (about $53) to cover one week’s worth of fish for Karamatta.
Once again, this donation was funded by the creator fees generated by the community.
More fish for Karamatta 🐟🦭❤️
Meet Karamatta, a young grey seal of around eight months being treated at the WEC in the Netherlands.
He was found with a net wrapped tightly around his neck. As Karamatta grew, the net did not—it continued cutting deeper into his skin. The rescue centre stated that without help, he most likely would not have survived.
In Japanese, 「絡まった」 (karamatta) means “got tangled”—a name with a powerful connection to his story.
The centre’s YouTube livestream became famous in Japan as “Azarashi Kindergarten,” allowing people to watch the seals live from anywhere.
Karamatta is now receiving care, and the centre hopes he can return safely to the Wadden Sea.
$KARAMATTA carries that hope: recovery, freedom and a second chance. 🦭💙

It’s only a matter of time before people find out about the NVM coin and the brilliant developer behind it. Thank you so much for all your hard work, Dev. @ljharb lfg $NVM 🚀
@MartinShkreli Hello there, could you please check out the $NVM coin? The developer is ranked in the top 50 on GitHub—a real legend. Could you take a look at his X account? His handle is @jordanharband
If you look at Jordan’s GitHub sponsors (https://t.co/izpsI2qHY8), one of them is the GitHub SecureOSS Fund, GitHub's own program meant to secure critical open-source dependencies that power massive projects. Plus, if you caught his @MCGlive episode, he mentioned that when he dropped the CA directly into the nvm repo, GitHub actually reached out to him because they assumed his account was compromised at first.

Guys what`s most likely to happen here is that you will get bored waiting and capitulate
Then one day you will wake up, see it at 5-10M and realize you sold actual Node Version Manager backed by @ljharb, who is working hard on the project sub 200K because you got psyopped by some impatient brokies in here
Utility projects which are nowhere close to this have gone much higher
I dont really mind I am just telling you what`s very likely to end up happening
I spoke to dev about making sure security is a priority when it comes to solana:3ArcxqLtXMmBnWbbtfwQgVL3MNnDsggzgGDtXMnjpump given how many devs screw over their holders claiming “hacks” and what not.
Here was his response:
Makes me even more bullish on the tech.
$NVM
This is the tech. It speaks for itself.

This is the dev, fully doxxed and endorsed + utility being cooked up.

If you like good tech plays , this is one you should at least research.
Dev has made nearly 30k off this project, he has said he will build it out. I don’t know why people panic sell at these ranges.
There is so much info out there about the credentials of our dev @ljharb as well as solana:3ArcxqLtXMmBnWbbtfwQgVL3MNnDsggzgGDtXMnjpump itself.
Please remember this is not an overnight pump and dump.
@Cryptoforpoor zero of my tweets have been negative, people just don’t know how to read ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
just assume no news is good news. it’s freaking saturday, man
it seems people really suck at reading. there is only one token. I won’t launch another, on any network. “I’ll look into something” means I’ll google it because I’m not educated - it doesn’t mean I’m going to DO anything about it.
Panic sellers will always lose, in any market, crypto or fiat. This is a long term play and I’m not going to rush into *anything*, and I’m going to always act so as to protect token holders.
Hi dev, where are you? We miss you here. Is there any update about this NVM? The community is waiting for good news from you. I hope you are always well and healthy to build this NVM token $NVM 👨🏼🍳🚀
Main takeaways from @ljharb's appearance on @MCGlive:
- He made his first open-source contribution in 2012 after stumbling into open-source repos and hunting down bugs.
- Eventually inherited nvm when the original maintainer handed over the keys and faded away.
- He moved nvm under the OpenJS Foundation, and the repos he maintains today run under the hood of a massive chunk of global tech infrastructure.
- He worked at Twitter on frontend and campaign management, then moved to Airbnb from 2015 to 2019 on the web infra team, where he ran all their open-source operations alongside legal, leadership, and marketing.
- Jordan has tried basically every route to make open-source sustainable ('because in a capitalist world, you need money'), using platforms like Tidelift, having GitHub Sponsors (he's backed by big names like Mercedes-Benz, Amex, OpenClaw: https://t.co/izpsI2qHY8), and HeroDevs.
- He mentioned it would cost roughly trillions to build all open-source software back up from scratch.
- He pointed out that open-source is essential because tech advances way faster when people share their ideas, wins, failures, and mistakes out in the open.
- Jordan laid out the main bottleneck to OSS sustainability: maintainers need to stay healthy, sane, fed, and housed—which takes money. But the culture is very altruistic and "hippy-happy," so the two worldviews clash and people burn out constantly.
- He sees $nvm as an active experiment to see if a token model can make open-source self-sustaining, with trading fees already directly funding maintenance.
- He clarified that the token was originally launched by a random third party, but he endorsed it and bought supply off the open market to pay $nvm contributors.
- He promised to do everything in his power so holders don't get rekt—whether that means setting a floor price (stepping in to buy X amount if it drops below a threshold) or, in a worst-case scenario, pulling off a clean relaunch.
