@Ahmad4ISRL I think that pro-peace Palestinians should be criticizing the Israeli government and the Kahanists in charge without implying that Israelis as a whole are automatically Kahanist.
The same way that criticism of Hamas should never imply that all Palestinians are Hamas supporters.
"i may seem a little quiet, but my strength is very real. When my cutie mark comes to life, my heart helps me feel!"
I thought I'd make a drawing of misty as a way to appreciate her as a character. Her redemption arc was amazingly done! I might do similar stuff to the others too!
@IhabHassane Netanyahu is a politician at heart; he'll do whatever keeps him afloat. As we've unfortunately seen, that apparently means caving to the "hardcore minority" when, for example, Ben-Gvir or Smotrich says they'll pull out if Netanyahu goes for something not in their interest.

@IhabHassane Assuming the "hardcore minority" being referred to is specifically the two parties led by Ben-Gvir and Smotrich, then the danger is that they're even part of the coalition in the first place. That gives them power over Netanyahu.

@HowidyHamza When the security minister is the head of a faction (Otzma Yehudit) which is an offshoot of the one Israeli political party that was designated by the Israeli government as a terrorist group (that being Kakh, the Kahanist party) it's not surprising that police are useless here.
@HowidyHamza In my opinion, for as long as Ben-Gvir is security minister. Having a Kahanist in charge of the police force feels like a big obstacle for figuring out what to do about settlers who act this way.
@Ahmad4ISRL the fault lies not with the people who are hoodwinked and hold onto what shreds they can, but with the publications and organizations doing the hoodwinking.

@Ahmad4ISRL The thing is, if we take out emotion then we lose what religious people (like me) would call our soul.
As I see it, if we take out emotion then we become the monsters who we are accused of being.
Yes, this makes us susceptible to emotional manipulation, but (1/2)
@aziz0nomics Eh, NYT has a bit of a track record for being "late to the party"
(10/9/1903 on the feasibility of flying machines and 12/21/1924 on a certain Austrian being "tamed by prison" come to mind)
