@CamRegier We have a UV light component as part of our home hvac setup at home. I wonder if that’s something you can add. We had Covid in our house a few months ago and no one else caught it.
@AureliaCotta@Johnqpu88199050@merry123459 Every province is different. In BC, you have to have a bachelor’s degree to get into the education program. At UBC you get a second bachelor’s degree in education for completing the Ed program, other universities offer a diploma.
@Rob_Tarzwell There’s a reason this movie continues to be in the all-time top 10 for many movie critics. Now you’ll get so many movie references. I often say ‘Dignity, always dignity’ when something particularly ’graceful’ happens in class.
@mshopeteach@TheVicWinnipeg I wonder if I saw the same dismissive doctor when my daughter was getting waves of hives that nearly covered her entire body (they would merge together) and to keep taking her antibiotics. 2 days later at a clinic we were told to stop and given prednisone to calm her symptoms.
@keith_campion I made an amazing discovery when I started using a mic because I’d lost my voice; since I was able to be heard without having to project, the kids were calmer. I guess there was tension in my voice that the kids picked up on so I’ve used a mic ever since.
@Grills3Tim @LaheysLiquorr @MarkJParkerSr @FlyGoalScoredBy My family is similar, Grandparents born between 1892 and 1900, my parents both in the 30s and me in the 70s. Not everyone has kids in their 20s.
@llama_survivor My recommendation: If there are future plans for kids to be in the house then do not sell the LEGO. It will be so costly to replace especially since the pieces don’t really deteriorate (we have pieces from the 80s in our collection).
@Rob_Tarzwell LOL. I’m envisioning a scene like Life of Brian when his followers are trying to discern how to best follow Brian, be it going shoeless or carrying gourds. ‘We must … hang the sausages!’ ‘No… we must fasten them to our fingers when in prayer!
@Rob_Tarzwell So weird. I read that tweet and did a single inaudible chuckle (and maybe a nod of approval for the clever turn of phrase) and it’s approaching 30K likes?
@Terramjay@eddytheaxe @ggypsea @etoilechat@Imani_Barbarin@Jasamgurlie When I was young (before the vaccine) it was generally thought that getting chickenpox as an adult was life threatening so parents wanted their kids to get it when they were young. It was also thought to be harmless though uncomfortable.
