@AuclairsDad gotchya, the challenge I've had is choosing a bar size, which needs to be systematically adjusted based on volatility. Once that was fixed, it was quite useful, but your technique is clearly working, so don't overcomplicate if not necessary!

@AuclairsDad Appreciate you sharing what you're doing, Benji. If you haven't already and have access to it, do take a look at using Renko and volume bars in addition to time-based candlesticks. My system monitors renko and volume bars and triggers based rate of change-sounds similar.
