This is been in my mind for a while people make fun of volunteer firefighters saying where not “real firefighters” where held to the same training standards as the 2 paid city departments in my county so I’d say where far from ⬇️

Why I joined my local volunteer fire department at 16 I’ve wanted to be a firefighter since I was a kid and that dream is kind of being shut down with what I’ve read about volunteer firefighters and other volunteer agencies it’s frustrating it really is but
