Early this morning our boards were vandalized and removed just as campaign commenced. Some of our deployment staff were also threatened with violence and warned to desist.
Fellow Lagosians, we must stand against this sort of tyranny. This is no ordinary election. This is a fight for #Freedom. A fight for Democracy. A fight for Lagos. We will not be silent and we will not be oppressed or suppressed into a corner. This time around, Democracy must win
Congratulations to the @NGSuper_Falcons for clinching their ninth African Women Cup of Nations (AWCON) title.
Your achievement is no mean feat and we are very proud of you. Well done, ladies.
Thanks for reaching out. Please sign up using the campaign's volunteer page https://t.co/qDun3Avbom and I'll have someone follow up with you directly. God bless.
I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Dr. Frederick Fasehun, founder of the OPC. Baba was an icon of Nigeria’s democratic struggle and a father figure with whom I enjoyed a personal relationship. My deepest condolences go out to his family.
Adieu, dear friend.
It has come to our notice that some of our campaign boards that were stationed on third mainland bridge were destroyed over night. I must say this is very disappointing to see. This is not Freedom. This is not Democracy. This is not the Lagos the people want to identify with.
To Mr. Sanwo-Olu, thank you for the well wishes. In the same manner, I extend my best wishes to you and all the other governorship candidates running in Lagos. This election is about the people of Lagos.
Let the campaigns begin.
