This week, our Red Cross teams made donut drops at military support centers across the region as a small way to thank the people working behind the scenes to support service members and their families every single day.

One memorable moment from the Williams Smoke Alarm walk: A few of our flight crew volunteers discovered a smoke alarm from 1976 still hanging in one resident’s home. They were able to replace it with a brand new smoke alarm to help keep that household safer for years to come!

Our amazing @NAU Capstone students recently taught CPR skills to fellow college students, helping build a more prepared community. Bystander CPR can help a person’s chance of survival during cardiac arrest, making CPR education a critical part of public health!

In the past 24 hours, our volunteers have:

🍽️ Served 43 meals
🏠 Provided overnight stays for those in need

Today we responded alongside @PHXFire to a large apartment fire that impacted 16 units and displaced many residents from their homes. 3 Red Cross volunteers were on scene providing comfort kits and support to those affected as they begin the road to recovery ❤️
