Venezuealan heavy crude is a jackpot for Reliance, not many refineries can process it, demand is less and so it offers heavy discount upto $16+ below brent crude. (Ambani +1)

But the interesting catch here that proceeds from Venezuelan crude oil sales now goes to the US treasury. (US +1)

Reliance buys & refines it, makes profit, and significant portion of that money flows back to US to finance Brownsville America First Refinery, in Texas. (US +2)

As binding off-take partner of AFR, Reliance committed to buy every drop of refined products for 20 yrs and distribute it, so more money goes back to the US. (US+3)

Most probably they will use BP network (through Jio-BP venture) in Europe to distribute American energy products in fuel-starved European market. Great deal for BP, which operates in 60 countries. (BP+1)

US/Rubio secures a massive geopolitical win through these deals. 1) Secured a buyer for captured Venezuelan oil, 2) secured the financial injection for a stalled refinery in US (Trump Jr sleeping partner), 3) Secured sale of US energy products, 4) Export to fuel-starved European markets, lower European dependency on Russia, 5) block Ural input in Jamnagar.

In short, United were considering Amorim as one of the options to replace Ten Hag but decided not go fo for him, then decided not to replace Ten Hag at all, only to sack him 3 months later and go for Amorim, in addition to sacking the director of football who wanted to bring Howe instead of Amorim, then sacked Amorim a year later and thought about hiring Nagelsmann, but since he was unavailable, went for Carrick, who himself might be on the verge of getting sacked a year later, only for the club to go back to Howe, even though the guy they wanted after Amorim is now available. The way this has been going, a decision to offer another contract to Ten Hag would not come as a massive surprise.
