@EddieMike155721@Sam11028361309@GrantPaulsen Thank God someone else gets it. I had a doctor tell me the same thing along time ago. Throwing strengthens the arm. It’s simple. Many more injuries now, people say it’s cuz “guys throw harder now” like dudes back in the day weren’t giving just as much effort.
@RGIII Soccer is an English word, not a US one. It came from association football in the 1800s. When England created the modern rules, it was soccer too but eventually just called it football. US kept the term football cuz it came from rugby football. Which is why we say soccer instead
@Sam11028361309@GrantPaulsen I agree, rest is the key for any pitcher. SP pitch every 5 cuz they carry the load. Teams have 8 RP to rotate. I’m just the “old man” now. Limiting pitch counts isn’t helping anyone’s health that’s a fallacy imo. I’ll die on that hill, no pun intended.
@ochocinco Now that USA is out, @netflix needs to get all the “best athlete” non soccer players and get a game together. See if our team doesn’t stack up cuz our “best athletes” play other sports.
@Sam11028361309@GrantPaulsen I played a long time, not professional. I was a starter, this is why it bothers me. Talent and fatigue levels I understand. Training to have low pitch volume is ridiculous. Guys whose role it is to throw 2-3 innings or a closer should still be able to throw 50 pitches.
@zea_eye@JDGoldboys I get it. I’m all for getting calls right with tech but hair touching the ball, that’s absurd. Micro contact? There needs to be a clearly perceptible level of contact for it to be called. My point being even in replay you can’t tell. It’s an English sport.
@GrantPaulsen I’ve always thought he had a decent bat, but this heater is fun to watch.
Does it bother you that the lineup changes every game? Wood batting leadoff seems to be the only consistency.
