@IndiaWilloughby All that free publicity and and all those loyalist terven declaring unyielding support, and she still cries foul that nobody wants to buy her records or go to her gigs. Shocking oppression.
@ColinRayVWU@mushycrouton@roisinmurphy In the late 80's/early 90's Pride Marches we often chanted, 'we're here, we're queer, we're not going shopping', while marching down Oxford Street.
@mushycrouton@roisinmurphy I wasn't an editor at a London gay magazine called QX in the 1990s - and that Q definitely didn't stand for queer, and we definitely never did features on a club called Queer Nation, and we definitely never featured @BoyGeorge referring to himself as queer in there either. ๐
@Rashnaking@onipro It's the Ogoh Ogoh parade on Pangrupukan, that takes place the day/evening before Nyepi - which is day of silence in Bali. They are paraded through the streets before being burned at the end of the day. It's quite spectacular.
@GDemorest64339@MarkJCarney She wasn't. Both the original film and the musical version would have been greatly enhanced by her presence, but she wasn't in either. She did however appear in a classic comedy skit on SCTV about hairspray.
@miffythegamer Don't part with any cash until you get that pint and those nuts. He's already bankrupted one pub but he doesn't like talking about it because it blows his alpha grift.
