@Hoshnasi I just literally blew up my Xiegu G90 and got myself a replacement with in a day, that’s how not interested in those radios I am. 😎I expect the 6100 is going places, but right to repair vs technical documentation has been weak from Xiegu. As a consumer, price point is too high.

Mega pissed that I blew up one of my expensive radios last night, wife noticed the smell of burnt PCB when I stupidly crossed the feed lines to swap in the new antenna. Rig took a hundred watts up the receiver. A small visceral crackle and the release of magical smoke.

I can’t be doing with DMR. I’ve tried. Everyone sounds like the damn C64 SID chip doing speech synthesis, and i cannot unhear it, and it’s awful awful audio fidelity.

By the time they took it seriously and did a proper investigation the damage was done and its irreversible. Imagine lightning bolt level of pain on keystrikes. Thankfully spending long time away off the keys for 5 years has helped :D
