Definitely need someone in my life who’s actually willing to be consistent, caring, and present. If they enjoy NIKKE and gaming in general, that’s a huge plus.
I’m just so tired of the hot and cold games.
@KimariRoseVA If this ain’t the most relatable thing I’ve read all day. Pretty much describes me to a T. And every time I do this, I just end up hurting myself it feels like
My toxic trait is that I will be completely obsessed. I’ll want to learn everything about you, learn how to make you happy, learn all your little quirks and preferences.
And as soon as I feel like I’m not a priority, that I’ll never be that special to you, I check out and become the uninterested party. All special treatment and curiosity fades, and you become one of my friends I really only interact with when you want.
I stop reaching out. I stop putting in the effort you never gave to me in return. My “oh shit, I did it again” alarm goes off, reminding me that I always dive in too deep, too quickly once I find the rare person of interest.
And then I distance, and I never know if the relationship crumbles because I didn’t want to get hurt or if the relationship was never really there in the first place and I was just too blinded by rose-tinted glasses to see that.
And that, my friends, is part of why I’m single 😂
Being submissive doesn't automatically mean being weak or easily flustered.
Being introverted or quiet doesn't automatically mean being shy or unconfident.
There are a lot of generalizations and preconceived notions surrounding submissiveness and introversion, and as someone who leans submissive and prefers being alone and not talking but is also generally confident and opinionated and headstrong, I really get tired of people thinking they know me because of the simplification of labels.
That is the issue with using labels, as helpful as they also can be. Nuance, darlings. Please learn that most things, if not everything, operates on a spectrum. Don't put people in simplified boxes, even if they themselves use labels. Labels are often very broad and are more often for direction than slapping a limited list of traits on someone/something.
