@ChickeniedRice One of Putin’s own states goals was demilitarize Ukraine. How do you do that without taking all and leaving militarized pockets to give you many future headaches?
Did this guy not ever see Putin literally try to blitzkrieg Kyiv from Belarus and reach the city with tanks and armor from both sides of the river?
That is western Ukraine, sir.
Prof. John Mearsheimer :
I think Putin has no interest in taking all of Ukraine.
Putin invading Western Ukraine would be like trying to swallow a porcupine.
It would be remarkably foolish.
The Russians have had a devil of a time conquering the eastern 20% of Ukraine. This is not the Wehrmacht.
They can't even conquer all of Ukraine.
@ChickeniedRice Removing government and installing your own puppets is pretty much taking over.
The 30k was simply a spearhead force tasked with capturing a key airport and land routes to funnel in many more trips and supplies. Such invasions aren’t overnight successes.
@ptem0@AMK_Mapping_ 1. There are no signs in the video a Patriot was launched or hit the Shahed before the shahed’s typical nosedive maneuver to its target.
2. If a Patriot did hit it that ruins the IRGC claim that a Patriot malfunctioned because that would have been a successful engagement 🤷♂️
Ben Shapiro says Russia is bringing in influencers like Candace Owens to make Americans believe the West is terrible while Russia is great and spiritual… meanwhile, he adds, the entire Russian church is basically just a branch of the government.
🚨That'll happen ...
🚨"Putin Need to Seize Odessa and Cross the Dnieper River Now" Col. Douglas Macgregor
🚨These are absolutely vital things that must happen.
And I don't think that the Russians should be all that concerned about what the Europeans say or do.
I mean, these people are, to be polite, full of hot air.
So Iran claimed a Patriot interceptor malfunctioned and hit the terminal at Kuwait International Airport.
Funny development that Patriot missiles now ship with Shahed drone engines…
In the aftermath of the Iranian strikes on Kuwait Airport, a Kuwaiti military @KuwaitArmyGHQ officer was seen carrying the debris of what is most likely a Mado MD550 engine. The MD550 is a 50-horsepower, four-cylinder, two-stroke gasoline piston engine manufactured in Iran by Mado. It is a reverse-engineered copy of the German Limbach L550E aircraft engine and is widely known as the primary powerplant used in the Iranian-designed Shahed-136 attack drone.
When Russia or Iran officially say “we struck only military targets/bases and they were fully successful” this is what they mean:
KWI civilian passenger terminal is *not* a military target.
@LSHINov I did. Average Russians in St Petersburg or other deep in Russia cities don’t worry
Inside Russia’s “SMO,” however, where military movements, logistics, command, and staging happen in cities amongst the civilian population things get hairy
But the Russians aren’t clean either
Bonkers video from earlier today in St. Petersburg, where Russian police try to shoot down a Ukrainian drone, while bystanders casually video the effort (and the burning oil terminal in the background).
@AMK_Mapping_ Russian state media calls almost every strike inside Russia a “terror attack” and constantly claims Ukraine targets civilians deliberately.
My point here is that their claims simply aren’t true.
To be fair Russian drones and cruise missiles have entered NATO nations’ airspace numerous times before, possibly to evade Ukrainian AD, and NATO lacked any response. So the Russians keep doing it.
It’s all mutual and equal. NATO nor Russia do anything 🤷♂️
@GatorCosmist@RT_com Russians did threaten and *even foreshadow* their military takeover of eastern Ukrainian regions.
You can’t convince me Russians weren’t there poking Ukrainian government to attack to justify larger military force:
Ukraine was screwed with yes or no vote

@GatorCosmist@RT_com Don’t forget the “coup” in 2014 would have never been a thing at all had Putin not meddled and strong armed Yanukovych into cancelling the EU vote—which had popular support—at the last minute in 2013.
Putin tipped the first domino…
@GatorCosmist@RT_com You know well that Ukraine never touched Russia until Russia’s 2022 expanded invasion. Ukraine has wanted Putin to stop meddling in its decisions even back to 2013 and beyond.
Putin poked far too long
