NEW: Truman and Marriott International have announced plans to open 3 new hotels including a W Calgary, JW Marriott Calgary and an Autograph Collection Hotel on Stampede Park to open in 2028, 2029, and 2030.

The plans include 2 towers set to be tallest in Western Canada.

@jeff_marsh @cityofcalgary There isn't an accessible ramp due to the fact that the north side of the overpass is serviced by a public elevator which is arguably better than a ramp. Perhaps signage could be improved to make that more obvious if people are only seeing the stairs though.

A refrigerated rink, along with the spectacular fountains will ensure this area serves as a needed year-round downtown draw for families from across #yyc. Kudos to all involved.
