At 39 I went to my doctor with fatigue and was told it was perimenopause and to "live with it."
I knew it wasn’t peri (I’m a fertility doctor), eventually, I was diagnosed with celiac disease.
Perimenopause is not an excuse to avoid evaluating symptoms in women in their 30s/40s.
@RaminNasibov Basketball Diaries - when he’s begging his mother for cash at her front door and she’s behind it clutching money she wants to give him but knows she can’t. Devastating for a mother to watch her kid in pain and knowing there is nothing she can do but not enable him.
