About a year ago, you guys did a truly unfathomable thing. Something that completely blew my mind… You gave The Life of a Showgirl the biggest first week for an album in history. I took a trip to Sweden to celebrate with Max and Shellback, my two collaborators on this album. Really we just wanted to reflect and take in how grateful we were for the moment we were in, but there was a studio there and we did what we do when we feel anything at all: We wrote more songs. I hope you love them, because they were born out of pure gratitude for your exuberance for and celebration of the album we made. The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore including four new songs is out on Friday and available to pre-order and save now at https://t.co/bWaNOQ6OmT ❤️🔥

🚨BREAKING NEWS🚨
Trey Mancini received 91% of over 52,500 votes and is now officially inducted into the Hall of Pretty Good as an Inner Circle member.
Mancini was born on March 18, 1992, in Florida. As a high school senior, Mancini batted .480 with six home runs, catching the eye of Notre Dame, where he would go on to play while pursuing a degree in political science.
After a successful collegiate career, Mancini was drafted in the 8th round of the 2013 MLB Draft. After performing well in the minors, Mancini made his MLB debut on September 16, 2016, when rosters expanded. In his second at bat, Mancini crushed his first career home run off Eduardo Rodriguez with his parents in attendance. Mancini became only the fourth Oriole to homer for his first career hit.
Mancini would parlay that strong start into a six year Orioles stint that included a standout 2019 season, when he posted an impressive .899 OPS with 35 home runs and 97 RBI.
As many know, during his Orioles tenure in 2020, it was revealed that Mancini had been diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer. He completed chemotherapy by the end of 2020. For many, this would have understandably been the end of their careers, and there would be no shame in that. But Mancini refused to quit.
After kicking cancer’s butt, Mancini went on to play parts of four more MLB seasons, including winning a World Series ring with the Houston Astros in 2022. He even played in five games for the Angels in 2026, showing he still had it by batting .308 with a 110 OPS+.
Mancini overcoming cancer and continuing his career is undoubtedly inspiring, but make no mistake, he deserves this induction based on his own merits on the field. Mancini hit 129 career home runs with a .775 OPS and a 110 OPS+.
It’s an honor whenever we get the chance to appreciate a ballplayer, but this one feels even deeper than that. Mancini’s strength and perseverance through unimaginable circumstances is something that should inspire everyone, and it is an honor to have him in the Hall of Pretty Good.
The stare is here to stay ✍️
