New P9211AM came off a field locally that has looked very good all year. Yielded even better than it looked. 230+ and 22% For an early corn it looks like a winner @PioneerSeeds
When new soybean varieties are launched we are committed to analyzing what acres they fit best on. Here’s a glance at our favorites to combat our 2 worst yield robbers!
Another week, another hand shelled dry down study! Another great 5 days of drying weather for our show plot. Almost 2 pts of moisture gone! Lets get the sun shining and get these soybeans harvested so we can nose into some corn!
Cleaning out some old photos and found this shot of my dad and my two daughters from over 25 years ago. Simpler times. Hmmm...time flies, take time to look around. @PioneerSeeds
Walked a bunch of corn today. This specific field had 2 different planting dates, about 2 weeks apart. Left ears early and right ears were later. 150bu vs 100 (if lucky). Pretty crazy what 2 extra weeks of growing season can do.
Happy Birthday to our Sales Agronomist Adam Thormodson. Adam has been on our team for almost 6 months and has been a phenomenal addition to our team. Here he is flying a customer’s corn field checking if we see any issues from above!
Are you protected against Goss’s Wilt? This bacterial disease can devastate a corn crop up to 50% yield loss. Choosing the right hybrids is the best defense in battling this late season yield robber. Goss’s Wilt is here, and it’s not going anywhere.
#Corn ears from the #CropWatch20 fields in Iowa, Illinois and Kansas. Planting dates range from April 18 (KS) to April 21 (IA). Above-average yields are expected for all three fields.
