Summer is certainly on our minds, but first, Mother Nature had other plans… With the drier winter, we were severely lacking in our snowpack, which usually provides much-needed moisture into summer. We are so grateful for this wet start to May, as more rain and snow are on tap.
The 7” of new snow we’ve received over the last few days is a welcome sight and will help us open new trails soon ❄️ As cold temperatures have remained, we are taking advantage of more snowmaking in some key areas before expanding terrain.
Last week, @liftblog spent the morning on the slopes with us to document the new Copper Chair. 📸 Thanks for stopping by, Peter! https://t.co/eHTkNURp8Q
Two recent additions to the Lift Database: Aspen at @AZSnowbowl and Copper at @RedRiverSkiArea. Next up: new lifts of Quebec and Vermont (weather permitting)
The inch overnight isn't enough to make much of a difference, but it is a welcome sight to make things look like winter again. Also, how about that sunrise... 😍❄️
The legacy of Copper Chair lives on… It was a perfect morning with our partners at the @CarsonNF and eager skiers and snowboarders to unveil and open such an incredible investment into the future of Red River Ski Area. Welcome to the new Copper Chair, now open for the season.
Despite lacking a bit of help from Mother Nature, our snowmaking team is making winter happen. 💪 We’re open today, December 6th, through the 8th and will be open daily beginning December 13th. The groomers are great. Get out for some nice sunny turns!
