@GamblinGauchos@meditation_frog Yep! Sure was! Getting mad during a game is par for the course for any true fan. Doesn’t change the fact Dykes has won more than Joey so far.
@meditation_frog@GamblinGauchos Dykes has had a 13-win season and two 9-win seasons in 4 years. He has accomplished way more than McGuire. Joey is definitely in the one good season category.
@flatland_sports The amount of bitterness of Tech fans seems to be exceeding the bitterness everyone else had before when you were calling them out for it. You have become what you were complaining about in others.
@GamblinGauchos Because you don’t break up with your girlfriend over one fight. Be where your emerging status can place you near the top. Own that for several years. Then be ready when the super conferences come along. No need to ditch now and stunt the growth you are gaining.
@flatland_sports This is all laughable. You argue Texas Tech was only supporting a player. Then the Big 12 supports its other institutions and you want to leave. Is supporting good or not?
@BrennanBaxt Who says it’s going to crumble? As long as the money keeps flowing they will be just fine. Money is the universal language all players speak. Tech isn’t going anywhere until the funding dries up.
@flatland_sports TTU fans keep comparing Sorsby’s situation to others. Quit. Its simple. He broke a rule that has existed forever and has consequences. He should pay those consequences. Thats it. End of story. People are mad because he got out of the consequences and that’s not ok.
@BrennanBaxt You can care about his mental health, support him and allow him to do anything but play in a game. He knowingly broke a longstanding rule that nobody else has ever not been banned for. Playing him anyway is on Texas Tech. Him suing to play anyway says a ton about his character.
@Aaron_Torres He committed three crimes. Betting under age, betting in Texas, and betting under a false identity. Why is he not being pursued by law enforcement for this?
@SanAntonioTim I have been screaming this for years. I’ve been fine with his decisions to not pay excessive prices for the waning years of someone’s career. If more people would do it, it might correct that market. But it’s also why I wouldn’t have taken on Correa’s contract.
