@ATC_1984 @jasonwhitlock So you're argument is that schools are bad, and your solution is to make them worse?

Has there ever been a precedent for this? A society that just shutters their schools and lets the kids... be educated by social media? What's the plan, boss?

I feel like H&L's "Twistin' The Knife Away" LP is one of the more unheralded releases in the catalog. It's a terrific album, but alas, 'twas a Pandemic release. Anyhow, they have new stuff out now...

YUGE DAY, COMRADES: The new @HeartAndLungBand EP is out now and if you utilize the link below, it will take you to a magical place that'll connect you with this bitchin' new music. ✨ What's next, flying cars?

@jasonwhitlock They had the same Puritanical hysterics over Elvis.

[Toby (von Red Scare) @RedScareToby]

@ATC_1984 @jasonwhitlock Lemme guess, all funds intended to benefit the citizenry shall be redirected to the military?

New song/video from Cleveland's finest that eulogizes Summer. Sol Music, if you will. Eguzkia is the Basque word for Sun.

[FLOOD Magazine @floodmagazine]

The first track taken from @heartnlungband’s new EP is a jaunty slice of “upbeat rustbelt punk” that sticks in your ears from the moment you hit play

Next time you're thinking this world has gone to the dogs and you're mad about Shane Gillis or the rising cost of Labubus, just remember: we've been dumb and ridiculous for decades.

Guys, guess what happened when the bros from Good Charlotte bought Alternative Press (and other outlets [then closed them down])?

[Toby (von Red Scare) @RedScareToby]

Gentle reminder that Immigrant Elon has received $38B (yes, BILLION) in government cheese. The world's biggest welfare queen.

[Elon Musk @elonmusk]

Oh, the irony is too much …

[Toby (von Red Scare) @RedScareToby]

@Th4tkidfig @Lovepre12824567 @usmntonly And what about all the kids that come from the favelas of Brazil or the streets of Lagos? The huge Euro clubs find them. But what, there's a secret stash of American talent hidden from scouts and college coaches?

[Toby (von Red Scare) @RedScareToby]

While employed at Fat Wreck I got to work on / around a couple Sick Of It All releases. Absolute gents. I'm not a "hardcore kid" by any definition, but as far as I'm concerned, SOIA was the first and the best. Lou Koller was an all-timer and he's on the Mount Rushmore of punks.

[Toby (von Red Scare) @RedScareToby]

I just told Ty from @BroadwayCalls that I listened to some of the Joe Rogan podcast with JD Vance and he was audibly disappointed with me, haha.

[Toby (von Red Scare) @RedScareToby]

I disagree with virtually everything Graham stood for, BUT let's remember him for the ~2 weeks in 2021 where he was like, "I didn't like the MAGA lynch mob coming to kill me or how they smeared their own feces in the Capitol..."

He was a bold patriot for those couple weeks. 🫡

@ESPNFC England flopped for 2 hours tonight, but suddenly the officials care about simulation. 👍

[Toby (von Red Scare) @RedScareToby]

Check my bracket, I have ENG winning the tournament. They've stood by Ukraine more than any nation, and deserve the good karma. But that was not the same team that beat Mexico, as they relied on VAR and flopping to win. 👎 Sigh.

I WILL BE SO ANNOYED if they don't beat Argentina.

[Toby (von Red Scare) @RedScareToby]

@Nigi4uan Except that wasn't a pass to him when he's offsides. Teammate took a shot, so when it rebounds to him, he has 3 opponents and the ball ahead of him.

[Toby (von Red Scare) @RedScareToby]

There's no rules in soccer and I guess it makes it more entertaining? Been a certified ref since 93, and offsides is more confusing than ever. GER (and Iran, et al) had goals taken away and... that's more fun? VAR lets them put a thumb on the scale, and everyone loves WWE, so...

[Toby (von Red Scare) @RedScareToby]

I wore this during the last WC in 1994. If you see me outside the stadium tomorrow in NJ, I need a ticket. Sup?

[Red Scare Industries 🇺🇦 @RedScare]

High fives to @SunTimes and @SelenaFragassi for shining a light on Chicago legends, Sludgeworth. Always fun to see a punk band in the pages of a big fancy newspaper... 👇

[Toby (von Red Scare) @RedScareToby]

@HiMyNameIsSeton Went to a SoFi game last week. Took the bus from @PinksHotDogs, checked my bag (only $25!), and started asking around for an extra ticket. $100 and I was in. Make a sign and have a good one-liner! 🤞

[Toby (von Red Scare) @RedScareToby]

@_seanjacobs @ESPNAusNZ As a fan of his club team, St. Pauli, can vouch for Cap'n Jack. 🏴‍☠️ He's always been the people's champ. One of the good guys, for sure...
