Yes, citizens who are concerned that their president just announced he will be erasing an entire country tonight are the insane ones. This has to be the correct take.

NFL owners have approved a change to the scheduling policy clarifying that Friday games are no longer considered “short weeks.”
Previously, teams were limited to two short-week games per season (typically Thursday games with less rest). That rule still applies—but now, Friday games (like Black Friday or Christmas this year) don’t count toward that limit.
So a team can play two Thursday short-week games and still be scheduled for a standalone Friday game, giving TV partners like Amazon more flexibility.
The most valuable member of the Chiefs organization is now Dave Merritt. He just got 3 guys paid 200+ million dollars, and will now be asked to groom a new batch of championship level DB’s this year.
Back for more: #Chiefs future Hall of Fame TE Travis Kelce is expected to return to Kansas City for a 14th season, a message that’s been delivered to teams who will want him.
At 36, Kelce’s play was at its usual level, landing him in the Pro Bowl. He’s loyal to KC & will stay.
ESPN sources: the Chiefs and Rams are working on a blockbuster trade that would send All-Pro CB Trent McDuffie to Los Angeles for a package that would include the 29th overall pick in the first round of the 2026 NFL draft.
McDuffie would be expected to sign a long-term deal with the Rams.
