@Skiandsurf2@brianros1 In fairness, he lost the Presidential Primary after that, and the Democrats lost the White House because they nominated a weaker candidate with good morals instead of him. Democrat voters were doing the right thing back then, even when it cost them something.
@EmmaVigeland One ironic thing about all this, is that this guy embodies so many of the worst stereotypes of right-wing people, and yet the far-left loves him and defends it all, simply because he's a Democrat. It's absolutely incredible to watch.
That's a nice thought, but even if the vote counting stopped right now he's at less than 30 percent. He'd have to win a big majority of the vote from the 3rd place candidate, who is the most left wing candidate. Are those far-left voters really going to vote for the Republican in massive numbers in the runoff? It sure would be nice, but it seems extremely unlikely.
@DougBright1@C_3C_3@osteofrio22 Because Kamala was so far ahead in California that they didn't need to wait for any votes to be counted to know she was going to win, the Exit Polls showed she was going to win huge, which is quite common, lots of states get called before any votes get counted, for both parties.
True, but most of the people seeing his skillful criticism don't live in LA, that's why he's under 30 percent of the vote. It hurts the Democrat brand Nationally, but it's not doing enough to actually help him win. He needs to spend money on actual LA ads, not Internet ads. Lots and lots of money. Money he presumably doesn't have, or else he'd have spent it. That, to me, is what seems to be the problem, just not enough money behind getting those ads to the voters of LA. We watch them for free here on the Internet, but we can't vote in LA.
@davidaxelrod@Elex_Michaelson@CNN That short answer is incorrect. Other states, and every other Country on earth, count votes dramatically faster than California.
@Ichiebillionz It was just one more terrible Season 8 idea. There's no reason for her to dislike Dany, she was literally there to save all their lives. It was crazy.
I don't need, or want, the Government to tell me what to eat. I would like the Government to prevent big corporations from adding ingredients to my food that would give me cancer or other terrible diseases. I do also care about stopping communism and illegals, and other foreign threats. But several members of my family have died of cancer, I'd like the Government to prioritize stopping cancer at least as much as stopping illegals, honestly I'd like it if they made it their very top priority.
It means Make America Healthy Again. That means getting rid of the terrible food additives and sprays and chemicals and such that are giving people terrible diseases including cancer. It means fresh, healthy foods, clean air and water. Healthy living. Good stuff that neither party cared about before, they just let the big companies keep right on poisoning us for profit. Very important stuff!
This is what most people don't understand about gerrymandering, because the media doesn't understand it either and thus they can't explain it to people. Yes, you can arrange the districts in a way that advantages your own Party, but you can also overreach, try to go for too many extra seats by drawing a bunch of districts with a small Party advantage, and then have that backfire on you, resulting in less seats than you would have gotten if you'd gone for a smaller, safer gerrymander.
@chriswithans Clearly if they're calling it 'solid' Dem that is incorrect, as the Republican has 47 percent of the vote in the first round. Obviously that makes him the underdog come November, but by nothing remotely resembling a 'solid' margin, it's probably Lean Dem.
@DylanByers It's unfortunate that Scott took such a negative attitude. If he'd been willing to work in a professional and friendly manner with new management, things likely could have gone quite well for him and the show. His ego and bias overwhelmed good judgement. Sad!
Because everyone who knows politics knows that Mail Voting tends to be heavily Democrat, and In Person voting tends to be heavily Republican. It's no more cheating for the Mail votes to be heavily Democrat than it is for the In Person votes to be heavily Republican. It's all just basic reality. The only thing to complain about is that the votes should be counted much faster, and votes that arrive after Election Day should not count, once the polls close, the polls close, that should be it for votes arriving.
