People like this, who treat transness as a revolutionary or subversive act in itself, are able to leverage it to harm trans women when they don't act like how they're apparently meant to
Worse than Transphobes, at least the latter are consistent.
@Neoncookies111 Yes. Bad behaviour begets bad behaviour, that is normal not a trans thing. People hit where it hurts. The question is why did that happen. Was it cuz you actually did something bad or something mildly annoying? If the latter then they have gone way too far.
Chiang Kai-Shek is one of those rare tragic figures who had all the makings and trappings and trajectory of a Great Man of History, but was brutally eclipsed by another, even Greater Man of History, at the exact moment the world would’ve recognized him as such.
@LeNigtvanNugt@Moppysoapps@Notyetus@SummerDayFlores@EmberOnMain@esjesjesj Don't you see how society fails to demarcate crossdressers/drag from trans people? This distinction isn't drawn and what ends up happening is that people project their misconceptions/prejudices towards crossdressers onto trans people, prejudices which result in empirical violence
I wanted to order a chocolate cake with this image printed on it and throw a small party with my friends when I finally got my T "legally," but now that I've just ordered two sachets of T gel from a pharmacy to start HRT DIY, I'm not sure if I should do it now or what
Never in my life have I been prouder to be Australian than when I heard a pub full of people erupt into cheers after seeing a 10 year old Turkish boy crying in the crowd.
@Notyetus@EmberOnMain@esjesjesj Why is it then that trans women are targeted by transmisogynistic violence, accused of being "traps"?
Could it be that the whole identity of being a "trap" is problematic because it tries to depict male heterosexual attraction to trans women as gay?
@guiltsouroboros@SummerDayFlores@EmberOnMain@esjesjesj If that's the case, then crossdressing can't be an independent phenomenon which is "adjacent" to transness but something that has to be subsumed under transness.
Of course GNC cis people exist and that's fine, but tying that to transness is problematic because it plays on
