Comrade Muteti Mulinge has been found.
He was dumped last night around 3am in the Lukenya area. He had to walk for a long distance to a shell petrol station where he got a good samaritan who helped him with a phone to call his brother.
He is disoriented, weak and injured. He is currently receiving treatment at Sanel Hospital in Mlolongo area. Family, friends and comrades are proceeding there.
Felicity Asibi Akwa makes a critical distinction: a commitment on paper is not the same thing as freedom of movement in practice.
“Let us move beyond just paper agreements to engaging the real issues on the ground.”

NDIANG'UI KINYAGIA AWARDED KSH 5M BY HIGH COURT🔴 Case Summary!
On the 21st of June 2025, DCI officers raided Kinyagia’s residence in Kinoo after allegedly sharing a June 25th #OccupyStatehouse timetable.
DCI officers seized his laptops, phones, passports and other items, and also changed the locks.
The Law Society of Kenya (LSK), acting on instructions from his family filed a habeas corpus application in the High Court at Milimani (Constitutional and Human Rights Division) before Justice Chacha Mwita, where the court ordered Inspector General Douglas Kanja and DCI Director Mohamed Amin to produce him, dead or alive, or explain his whereabouts.
Kinyagia resurfaced and appeared in court on the 3rd of July 2025.
Justice Mwita directed that police should not arrest him at that stage, that he could record a statement at DCI headquarters accompanied by lawyers, and that he should not be detained while doing so.
On the 16th of September 2025, the court marked the habeas corpus matter as withdrawn after Kinyagia, through Senior Counsel Martha Karua, asked for closure.
The court directed that seized items to be returned once investigations were complete.
Kinyagia later pursued release of the seized items (Dell and HP laptops, Infinix and Tecno phones, Kenyan passports, and an international vaccination card).
Investigations were said to relate to alleged offences under the Computer Misuse and Cybercrimes Act.
A magistrate’s court order of 8th July 2025 had authorized search and forensic extraction of data and in November 2025 Justice Lawrence Mugambi declined an application for urgent release of travel documents, finding no sufficient proof of the claimed emergency.
On 18 December 2025 Justice Bahati Mwamuye ordered the DCI to return the passports and his vaccination card.
On the27th of January 2026, in Kinyagia v Director of Criminal Investigations (DCI) & 3 others [2026] KEHC 486 (KLR), Justice L.N. Mugambi ordered immediate return of the laptops and phones.
The court held that the authorizing magistrate’s order was time-bound; the DCI had neither finished the work within the granted period nor applied for an extension.
Continued retention without a fresh court order was illegal and could not be condoned.
Today 22nd September 2026, the High Court has awarded IT expert and blogger Ndiang’ui Kinyagia KSh 5 million in damages over the June 2025 police raid on his Kinoo home.
Justice Patricia Nyaundi has found that the 2025 operation violated his rights to privacy, property, dignity, freedom and security of the person, and freedom of movement.
The court has also barred the police and the DPP from prosecuting him on the basis of that investigative process, which was ruled unconstitutional.
Another L for @DCI_Kenya and William Ruto's murderous regime.
Urgent: Mulinge Muteti went missing on September 21st in Nairobi Kenya after he had gone to seek for a cyber to print a media statement. His disappearance is linked with the Free Besigye protest that saw three activists also detained at Industrial Area Remand.
When you read up and dig deeper into the oil industry, you realise just how much money is being made. There’s some serious cartel-like business in oil. 🙌🏼
